You will be engaged in the myriad marketing channels we implement to cultivate our brand image, as well as in the techniques for supporting salespeople and ensuring profitable growth year upon year.
You will work with our Marketing Director to develop a specific internship based on your interests, goals and skills.
You will shadow our Marketing Director on site visits to see our teams in action in the following operations:
DesignBuild project sitesPool Reno project sitesProperty Care properties/enhancement landscape construction sitesFurniture installation sitesOutdoor Furniture & D cor ShowroomIn addition, you will receiveadditional training in marketing support responsibilities in the following areas:
Marketing/sales cycle and calendarLead managementSocial media content creationPhoto shoot coordinationVideo shoot coordinationEvent planning and executionDigital marketingDirect mail marketingMagazine/website pressYou will also receive additional training in furnishings showroom support responsibilities in the following areas:
Client hospitalityAssisting walk-in customers, assessing their interests, and funneling them to proper departmentsShowroom operations and organizationOpportunity to ask questions and learn from outdoor furnishings designer while experiencing assisting in the showroomYou will work with our Marketing Director on all aspects pertaining to the Marketing department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintaining the master marketing calendarPitching and creating social media content:
Photograph subjects and take videos; write captions; select hashtags.
Assisting on professional photo shoots with coordination, prop placement, art direction.
Assisting on professional video shoots with coordination and logistics.
Generating presentation materials for marketing meetings.
Assisting with event planning and day-of execution.
Creating graphics for content and collateralObserve and participate in Glengate and Mariani Premier Group marketing meetings as well as meetings with outside partners (i.
e.
magazines, vendors)Internship Requirements:
Studying in a Two or Four year Degree in Marketing or related fieldMust have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportationMust be self-motivated and team oriented and able to perform independently without direct supervision to complete team goals.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesExcellent communication skills.
