Manager of Corporate (Physical) Security
Location:
Fairfield County, CT (Hybrid)
Compensation $140K to $160K plus bonusKEY
Responsibilities:
Development, implementation, and day-to-day operation of the global security risk management program.
Lead the day-to-day operations of the corporate physical security program.
Coordinate timely response to security incidents, including workplace violence.
Research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques, tools, and services to facilitate the effectiveness of the global security program.
Function as the primary physical security subject matter expert and provide guidance and advice to sites on recommended minimum-security standards, including on CCTV's, access systems, fencing and gates, visitor management systems, guard services, etc.
Execute a strategy to optimize and build out the global security function in line with a global footprint, risk exposure, risk appetite, organizational requirements, and business priorities as well as best practice, industry standards and applicable regulations.
Conduct site security assessments and ensure that appropriate measures are in place in line with security policy framework, track and report on improvement action plans.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and staff to raise awareness and enforce compliance with security related policies and minimum standards to foster a consistent application of security practices across the enterprise.
Champion the implementation of key security programs to protect the organization's critical assets. These programs include physical, technical and site security; workplace violence prevention and response; threat analysis; and security training and awareness.
Travel, as needed, to factories and other site locations, primarily domestic.
Qualifications:
10
years of experience in a global corporate organization, with an expertise and focus on physical and personnel security.
Manufacturing and distribution experience is preferred.
Crisis management, workplace violence and business continuity experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of the physical and site security industry and associated best practices, including components of physical security such as CCTV, access control systems, fencing and gates, and other security risk mitigation measures.
High-level critical thinking and analytical skills, leadership experience and exceptional relationship management competencies to understand the impact and sensitivity of security issues.
Ability to set and execute strategic goals and objectives for the overarching physical and personnel security program while also managing and providing support for tactical, operational solutions.
Experience in developing, training, managing day-to-day security operations including conducting physical security assessments at sites.
Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization (including briefing executive management) on security initiatives.
Ability and willingness to be on call 24 / 7 to respond to company-related security emergencies
Relevant professional certifications would be highly valued
Demonstrated experience and exposure in the domestic and international security arena dealing with and managing security-related issues.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
