Summary:
The Legal Spend Management (LSM) Group at Bottomline Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) for its industry leading legal spend management applications. This is a valued role within the product management organization; your effort and dedication can directly result in the success of the company. You will work in partnership with a cross-functional team on the execution of the product strategy for a next-generation platform. The SBA will work under the guidance of Product Managers to develop and support the overall product strategy and roadmap. This person will perform the quantification and qualification of our customers and other stakeholder needs and translate those needs into detailed business and product requirements. The LSM group develops best-in-class electronic billing and auditing applications for the P&C Insurance Industry.

This position is based in our Wilton, CT office
Required Skills:
5
years of work experience in development and maintaining business and product requirements for enterprise applications
Product management experience
A background within a SAAS, Cloud or Property and Casualty environment is desired
The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, client representatives, product managers, software developers and subject matter experts
Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings
Support the product strategy and its roadmap
Work with stakeholders and broader markets regarding ideation, requirements, roadmaps and prioritizations
Decomposing high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from underlying true needs
Writing user stories and use cases
Maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog
Creating and maintaining the launch plan to confirm that all departments are prepared for the product release
Preparing internal and customer facing documentation (release announcements, release notes, presentations)
Working with the Director of Product Management on industry research, understanding evolving product space and competition trends
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and continually seek opportunities to increase customer delight and deepen client relationships
Perform customer usage and detail product gap analysis
Must be able to travel (estimated up to 25% domestic)
Preferred Skills:
Internal and external user acceptance testing
Experience working with user focus groups
Experience working with globally distributed teams
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence are a plus
Good understanding of product roadmaps, release priorities and alpha/beta programs
Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology is a strong plus
Business intelligence and reporting
Education:
Bachelors degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
