Reporting to the SharePoint Operations Manager, the SharePoint Operations Analyst will work on SharePoint solutions/applications, including all functionality, usability, and integration with other web-based applications to improve organizational efficiency and productivity. Work involves the maintenance of existing SharePoint Sites and applications, and the design, development, and testing of new applications and sites.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Support and manage SharePoint 2010 and 2013 sites and sub sites.
Help develop, deploy and test applications to achieve goals and objectives.
Assist other team members with implementation of new SharePoint applications.
Provide day-to-day operations support and configuration management; assign and manage the permissions to content within sites, including granting access and maintaining storage allocation.
Serves as POC for resolving technical issues and provide guidance in pursuing innovative solutions; resolve production problems and provide production and technical support.
Support (operate, maintain, manage, configure, and troubleshoot) applications
Provide troubleshooting support for SharePoint; differentiate functional issues from technical issues.
Develop, maintain, and deliver documentation for applications functionality in SharePoint as needed.
Collaborate with governance and administration teams to establish governance around SharePoint usage and deployment, and work within specific change management procedures.
Bachelor degree in related field and 4
years of related experience
A keen understanding of workflows and best practices within the SharePoint 2010/2013 environment.
Experience in working with SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Visual Studio
Experience in building and customizing SharePoint sites, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, security groups, and content policies
Hands on experience developing and utilizing SharePoint components including, forms, templates lists, external content types, custom lists, BCS, service applications, web parts, master pages and content management
Experience creating and modifying SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies
Web Development, Visual Studio, C#VB & , HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript; pluses include, JSON and AJAX American International Group, Inc.
