Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for providing excellent customer service and demonstrate a passion for food.
o Demonstrate product knowledge, an overall knowledge of programs and operations within the department.
o Receives shipments, inspects the shipment to ensure correct quantity and is of good quality.
o Verifies packing slip against the original order and ensures correct pricing.
o After examining the order, stores the items in their appropriate places.
o Responsible for keeping careful records and contacting shippers directly if a problem or discrepancy is found.
o Ensures proper management of the cash handling process and cash deposit process.
o Responds positively to customer's inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information and product selection.
o Greets customer; establishes eye contact with customers.
o Speaks to customers in a respectful manner and maintains patience in addressing customer concerns.
o Scan products, process credit cards and cash, balance cash registers.
o Document all void transactions, refunds and change requests, record and report Point of Sale discrepancies, identify counterfeit money.
o Performs suggestive selling, cross selling of products, and other sales techniques.
o Ensure that displays are stocked, neat, and clean. Ensure that there are no empty displays.
o Ensure that work area is neat and clean, and products are at proper safe levels.
o Performs otherEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
