Project Manager- Sales

This role will manage sales application projects.
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Core Skills & Requirements:
o 5+ years of project management using SDLC for application development. Specific experience in hospitality is a plus. Work planning & Critical Path Analysis, Resource Management, Budget, Issues & Risks, Change Control, Assumptions & Dependencies , Communications
o Must have experience in managing large, complex projects - $1M - $7M+ in size
o Come from and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment
o Hands on budget management experience
o Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
o Must be able to perform a variety of duties and multi-task
o Strong leadership skills (clear direction, respect, consistency, decisiveness, accountability, conviction, cooperation, good communication)
o Strong industry and business area knowledge
o Ability to maintain a balance of business and technical perspectives
o Good listening skills and ability to innovate and brainstorm around business ideas and needs
o Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility
Knowledge Areas:
o Tools: Strength in MS Project, Daptiv, MS Word, Visio, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Rational's Tool Suites (ClearQuest, RequisitePro, Rose, ClearCase), Mercury Quality Center
o Processes: Waterfall, Iterative and Agile
o Applications: Strength in SAP Financials and SAP Project Systems
o Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows XP, 2000, NT, HP UX, Solaris
o Languages: Familiarity with object-oriented languages including Java, C++
o Frameworks: Familiarity with J2EE and .NET
o Databases: Familiarity with Oracle, DB2, Access, SQL Server
Education: o 4 Year College Degree required; MBA a plus.
Licenses or Certificates: o Project Management Professional a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
