Security Admin - User Access Management
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Wilton, CT area.
The Security Administrator will perform user management for all systems including setting up and removing system access for staff, maintaining application security and auditing user roles. The Security Administrator will be the internal point of contact for security problem determination and issue resolution and will assist with maintaining security integrity over the production and non-production environments. This position also reviews, monitors and follows the company defined security controls, policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
oMaintain the process of provisioning, managing and de-provisioning users across multiple internal and external applications.
oProvide security administration services for several international divisions.
oEnsure that all executed requests conform exactly to the process as defined with appropriate approvals.
oCollaborate with functional and technical owners and stakeholders on security issues, incident management, problem management and escalation management.
oOversee the testing and migration of security objects from the non-production to the production environments.
oProvide system support and maintenance (e.g. purging of obsolete security objects, test accounts and general security housekeeping) as needed.
oMaintain contact with auditors and prepare responses to audit reports and requests.
oProvide support for security reviews of new and existing systems.
oOrganize and retain appropriate documentation related controls.
Required Skills:
oA self-motivated team player, skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn new technologies
oExcellent verbal, written, organization, communication and business relationship skills
oAbility to interact with a global group of technical and non-technical people at all levels
oExcellent analytical and problem solving capabilities
oAbility to show initiative and work independently as well as a team member
oPrevious experience performing user access administration in a diverse application environment
oAbility to provide off-hours support coverage (including weekends)
Additional Skills A Plus:
oPrevious experience in user access administration of financial systems a big plus (accounts payable, electronic banking, etc.)
oExperience with entitlement reviews/access re-certifications
o4-year degree or equivalent job-related experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
