Job Description:
The Medical Sales Representative will demonstrate an excellence indeveloping and applying territory business plans that lead to achievement ofsales goals and objectives. Additionally, they will coordinate with allfield based employees (Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, Brand Manager,etc.) to effectively drive promoted product(s) to Dermatologists within adesignated geography.
This full time position includes basesalary, strong incentive plan, excellent benefits package, paid time off,comprehensive training, fleet vehicle, full expense account privileges, andspecial recognition for top performers.
Location:
Territory based in Detroit, MIarea. Subject to change based onbusiness need.
Key Responsibilities:
Reportsdirectly to the Regional Sales Manager
Must demonstrate highlevel of integrity and accountability
Ability to buildstrong professional relationships; establish credibility and rapport with both internaland external customers
Responsiblefor the understanding and utilization of sales reports and forecasts
Ability to implementand execute key marketing strategies
Responsiblefor timely call reporting tasks
Responsiblefor meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
Strong organizationaland multi-tasking skills are required
Ability to travelovernight as needed. Overnight travel up to 25%.
Ability to travel andwork outside of the parameters of 8am to 5pm, as well as attend both corporateand medical conventions when required, which includes some weekends
Role Requirement:
Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited university, MBA a plus
College GPA of 3.0
Minimum three (3) years of outside business-to-business sales required
Excellentcommunication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Must be proficientwith MS Office, Windows, and have the ability to quickly become familiar withsales tracking and reporting software
Valid driver's
Ability to lift 30lbs and stand for long periods
Preferred:
Outside sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
Minimum two (2) years of consistent, documented high level sales performance
Recent working relationships with local Dermatologists is a plus
Bilingual a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
